In this crazy, busy world of ours we don’t always put our mates at the top of our "To Do" list. But what if we did? What if we put our partner’s happiness and well being at the very top of our list? Wouldn’t that make perfect sense?

When was the last time you stopped to think about doing something extra special for your loved one? Do you really even know what it is that they would like?

For many people, happiness is in the small details. Just taking a minute or two out of your day to think about your mate can make their entire day. A thoughtful note slipped into a jacket pocket to be discovered later in the day or a perfect single rose left on a bed pillow is all it takes to let someone know you love, cherish and adore them.

Did you immediately know the answers? If not, don’t worry. Chances are even they don’t know themselves that well. Here’s a quick (and fun!) way to deepen the communication: Pick several of your favorite topics from the list above. Write them on a small piece of paper and then fold it and toss them in a bowl. On your next date, take turns picking a question and answering them in as much detail as possible. Add a roaring fire and some wonderful snacks and have a great time!
