The Spiritual ChicksSM Speak Out!
If time is such a relative concept,
why do we let it dictate our lives so absolutely?

Time is not a real thing.  It’s a clever tool we invented for making plans with other people, as in "let’s meet for drinks at eight."  But often we take it too far and let time define our development.  Every new idea, every goal, needs a period of gestation, and the truth is that not everyone is on the same timetable.  Did you ever get so involved in something that you didn’t even realize how much time had passed?  It’s situations like this when we are truly in touch with our own instinct about the value of what we are doing.  When we start comparing ourselves to others or to some "statistically based" time frame, then we begin to doubt ourselves, and cut ourselves off from our own intuition.  So next time you proclaim your faith that your luck will change with your new positive outlook, don’t get angry when it doesn’t change overnight.  Show the spiritual life force that you mean business by sticking with your resolution until life responds.
