If
we accept the underlying premise that there is only One
Life and we are all simply expressions of it, then it is
logical to assume that because we aren’t separate from anything, we can,
and do, have access to everything. And,
because we’re all made of the same stuff, we’re all intuitive, whether
we realize it or not. Alright, so intuition is real.
But what is it and how can we use it?
Let’s back up for a minute. There’s
no doubt that we live in a world of cause and effect.
It rains in April and daffodils begin to bloom.
One nation declares war on another and thousands of people die.
When we really believe we’re worthy of love, we find that mate
for whom we’ve been longing. A
profound understanding of cause and effect leads to the inevitable
conclusion that causes belong to the inner realm, while the tangible
manifestations in the outer world are the effects.
In the land of effects, "reason," or logic is king, but
in the inner world, where everything begins, "intuition," or
direct knowing, is queen.
When
we begin to deal directly with causes, rather than effects, our intuition
naturally develops without any conscious effort on our part.
We spontaneously understand why we’ve attracted certain
situations, and how to get out of them or attract more of them, without
racking our brains or reading countless self-help manuals.
And, because we’re going right to our spiritual Source, we
don’t need to seek outside counsel every time we have an issue, which
saves wear and tear on friendships and cuts phone bills literally in half!
The only way to learn to use your intuition is to listen to it,
take its advice and see what happens as a result.
Keep in mind, however, the results are not always intended for
short-term gratification. Your
intuition knows everything there is to know about everything, so keep the
faith. Soon you’ll see just
how much easier (and more fun) life can be as a spiritual being.
